The 10th International Scientific Conference on Linguistic,
Educational, and Intercultural Research 2026
The Institute of Foreign Languages of the Faculty of Philology at Vilnius University, together with the Language Teachers’ Association of Lithuania (LKPA) and the International Federation of Language Teacher Associations – Northern and Baltic Region (FIPLV NBR), invites scholars and practitioners to the 10th International Scientific Conference on Linguistic, Educational, and Intercultural Research (LEIC Research 2026).
LEIC Research 2026 marks several important milestones: the 10th edition of the conference, which has developed into a key international platform for scholarly exchange in linguistics, education, and intercultural studies, and the 20th anniversary of the Language Teachers’ Association of Lithuania.
NBR Conference will be held in Vilnius/Lithuania on 12-13 November 2026, and on 14 November the 20th anniversary of the LKPA (Language Teachers’ Association of Lithuania) will be celebrated. The NBR Congress is usually held every two years; the last one took place in Finland in 2025. However, it has been brought forward to 2026 to avoid clashing with the FIPLV World Congress in Vienna in 2027.

Call for Abstract Submission
We invite proposals for papers, workshops, and posters within the scope of the conference themes, but not necessarily limited to the following areas:
- Linguistic Research and Digital Approaches to Language
- Multilingualism, Language Policy, and Linguistic Justice in Education
- Innovative, Action-Oriented Pedagogies, Assessment, and Research-Driven Language Teaching
- Language, Identity, Culture, and Intercultural Competence
- Literature, Media, Digital Literacies, and Critical Thinking in Language Education
- Teacher Education and Professional Development

- Submission of abstracts (~ 250 words): by 15 May 2026
- Notification of accepted abstracts: by 15 June 2026

Participation fees:
* Presenter’s fee covers organization costs, conference materials, lunches, refreshments, a conference dinner, and a trip around Vilnius Old Town. ** Non-presenter’s fee covers organization costs, conference materials, and refreshments. If they want to attend lunches, an excursion, and the conference dinner, they have to pay the same price as presenters. No distinction is made in meal costs between participants and accompanying persons.
