Eesti Võõrkeeleõpetajate Liit (EVÕL) on võõrkeeleõpetajate maailmaorganisatsiooni FIPLV ja selle piirkondliku regiooni NBR (Nordic-Baltic Region) liige alates 2013. aastast.
EVÕLi liikmetel on võimalik avaldada FIPLV ja NBR uudiskirjades artikleid ning edastada uudiseid oma seltsi / liidu toimunud ja eelseisvatest üritustest. Veebruaris ilmus hlinemisega 2025.a.uudiskiri No 4.
NBR president Outi Vilkuna juhib juhtartiklis “Languages as Infrastructure: Why Multilingualism Matterrs Now More Than Ever“ tähelepanu sellele, et praeguses keerulises globaalses olukorras ja eriti Põhja-Balti piirkonnas ei ole keeled kultuuriline luksus, vaid oluline infrastruktuuri osa (lk 4-5).
